Customisation promotes cost-effectiveness and ensures that the results of the screening tests are meaningful to you. Our doctor will formulate your customised cancer screening package based on your affordability too.

Preparation for Cancer Screening
Fasting (minimum 8 hours) is recommended prior to your appointment for cancer screening. On the night before your appointment, you should stop food intake by 12 midnight and consume only plain water when necessary.

Duration of Cancer Screening process
You will require about 4 hours to complete all the tests. However, if a particular test requires more preparation e.g. CT virtual colonoscopy, the test will have to be done on another day.
*Same day review (late afternoon) possible for screening tests with less than 4 hours turnaround time.

What to expect on appointment day

Consultation
You will be required to provide information on your personal medical history as well as family history. You may produce your past medical reports if you have any.

Physical Examination
You will be required to remove your clothes for certain examinations such as a breast examination or a per rectum examination.

Formulation of Customised Cancer Screening package
After the clinical examination and assessment, the doctor will then recommend the appropriate tests that you need. Based on the recommended tests, you will be advised on the cost of your screening package.

Undergoing Cancer Screening tests
You will require about 4 hours to complete all the tests. However, if a particular test require more preparation e.g. CT virtual colonoscopy, the test will have to be done on another day.

Review
Once your results are ready, we will contact you to arrange an appointment for you to review your results with our doctor.
* Same day review possible for screening tests with less than 4hrs turnaround time.
* Further tests, medications / vaccinations, doctor consultations will be chargeable.
